Manual shutters mean there is no need for any motors around the pool area, making sure there is no danger from accidentally splashing any water on electrics. Also, the open style shutter gives full visibility and less surface material to be contaminated with chemicals.

More about the Life Centre building in Plymouth
The Life Centre is a leisure centre in Plymouth where HVP have installed a set of security roller shutters. This multipurpose sports hall is the biggest in Devon. The swimming facilities are the largest in Southern England and they were used by several teams training for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. It's located in Plymouth's Central Park, which itself has multiple sports and recreation facilities such as football, rugby and cricket, as well as a golf course.
The Life Centre replaced the Mayflower Centre in 2012. The Mayflower Centre (originally built in 1971) was also situated in Plymouth's Central Park, close to Plymouth Argyle Football Club where we've also installed roller shutters.
