Aluminium Roller Shutters at the Sea Shanty Beach Cafe in Branscombe
Oh, we do like to be beside the sea-side! You can spot our shutters across various locations along the South West Coastline, from Plymouth to Bournemouth and everywhere in between.
And one of those places is the Sea Shanty Beach Cafe in Branscombe, on a particularly beautiful stretch of the Jurassic coast between Sidmouth and Seaton.

We sent our hardworking engineers for a day trip to the very beautiful village of Branscombe, where they fitted a pair of our K25 electric roller shutters in the popular colour of Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016).
If you ever visit the Sea Shanty in Branscombe you can see our shutters sitting proudly in the restaurant and the ice-cream kiosk.

About the roller shutters used on this project
At this project we installed K25 aluminium roller shutters. They were the perfect choice because of two main reasons:
- K25 roller shutters require the least amount of space of all our roller shutters; they have small guiderails and a small shutter box. So they leave maximum opening space.
- Aluminium generally doesn't rust when it comes in contact with water. Salt water can be an exception to that, which is why these roller shutters have an additional protective powder coated layer to them. This gives them not only their colour, but also prevents any salt ocean air or water from reaching the metal, preventing contact and corrosion, and keeping the shutters in great shape.
Next to that our aluminium roller shutters are cost-effective. The K25 shutter is lightweight and strong, quiet in operation and requires little maintenance.
