We often talk about the prestigious contracts we work on, because they are interesting and glamourous (as far as you can get glamourous with roller shutters). But it's also worth highlighting some of the bread-and-butter shutters we are fitting on a daily basis.
From schools, doctor's surgeries, pubs, clubs and social clubs we fit and service them all.

Bread & Butter – The shutters we fit day in day out
Below you can see photos of some of our most popular types of roller shutters. Customers often choose these because they are affordable and do a great job.
Perforated roller shutters
The lath of this type of roller shutter contains very many tiny holes (6-8mm in diameter) that let through air and light. This gives the shutter a great look, makes it more lightweight than a solid lath shutter, and also a little bit lighter (but still as strong).

Doorway roller shutters
Many buildings have an extra door at the back for supplies or as a personnel entrance. Such doors can be vulnarable points for break-ins or vandalism, so often they need some additional protection. A security roller shutter is a great choice then, because it provides a strong, additional barrier that completely covers the whole door.
With these types of security shutters looks often are less important. And a simple but strong solid steel roller shutter with a good locking mechanism is what counts here.

Roller grilles
The roller grille is a very versatile type of security shutter. The curtain is made of hollow aluminium tubes, connected by steel rods. This makes for a lightweight and strong security shutter that you can see through very well. The play of horizontal and vertical lines also makes for a modern aesthetic.
Shutters for bars and reception desks
Bars and recptions often need to be closed off outside of working hours, so that people can't get to valuables. A roller shutter is a good solution for this, because it can open up and be stored out of sight when the area is open again.

Sliding grilles or collapsible gates
Collapsible gates (also called sliding grilles sometimes) are used a lot in many kinds of situations. They are highly secure, but also let through lots of light and air (for ventilation). They are strong grilles that neatly fold back when not in use.
