An Engineer's Diary - The M4 Game - Is the end in sight?
Published: Wednesday 24 March 2021
It suddenly hit me this week as I drove up the M4 into London that I don’t have to play the M4 game at the moment.
Whizzing into London for shutter repairs
You must have played the game, the aim is to leave home as late as you dare and see how far you can get up the M4 before hitting traffic. Usually I am not very successful and only get to Reading and then hit traffic all the way to central London but in these unusual times if there is an up side it’s that I can get past the M25 junction without hitting traffic.
Parking in Central London
This week has been spent in Central London surveying, installing shutters and trying to park! It always amazes me how long it takes to find a parking space in central London where you can never park for over four hours.
We have installed this week shutters in Bury Street, SW1, Locks Studio, N1 and The Wembley feed Centre, Wembley. Also special mention to our colleagues who were at 100 Bishopsgate for some of the week.
