An Engineer's Diary - Security Shutters in Scotland's capital - Edinburgh
Published: Wednesday 16 June 2021
I must be doing something right, I had a treat this week, I have been out of my van and flew to Scotland for a couple of days.
Breakfast in Edinburgh
It still amazes me, I flew from Bristol and was having breakfast in Edinburgh at 08:30AM. Whenever I go to London for anything I could never be in Central London for 08:30AM unless I leave at stupid o'clock in the morning.
Roller shutters surveys and architect specifications
I was in Edinburgh carrying out surveys for a couple of upcoming projects and to meet with an architect to talk through specifications. I must admit I do prefer not to have greasy hands at the end of the day.
We have done many projects in Scotland over the last few years. This visit was mainly to sort the shutters at The Royal Hospital for Sick Children, with a brief visit to Waverley Station to check on the shutters we fitted there recently.
